#ETNEWS: PAGO Announces People-First SOC Strategy and Expansion Plans

By Reporter Jaehak Cho 2jh@etnews.com

PAGO Networks, a leading provider of 24/7 Managed Detection and Response services, announced new plans to expand its next generation SOC model while strengthening its people-first operational philosophy. The company shared that its employee engagement programs and work environment improvements are directly connected to stronger customer protection and higher quality threat detection.

CEO Paul Kwon highlighted that clients often comment on the energy of the team when visiting the company’s SOC. He explained that motivated analysts are essential for identifying attacks that bypass traditional alerts or hide under stolen credentials. He added that a fully engaged team can spot subtle signs of intrusion that automated systems may overlook.

“We are evolving into a next-generation SOC business optimized for threat detection and response that is completely different from existing SOCs,” and “We plan to launch a SOC platform that integrates endpoint detection and response (EDR), network detection and response (NDR), and extended detection and response (XDR) provided by Pago networks”.

The company has introduced several programs to support this approach. Employees receive personal messages to their families on special occasions, fitness training sessions during working hours and tailored recognition programs throughout the year. These efforts have led to a strong cultural outcome. The company scored above 98% on its Great Place to Work assessment and earned recognition in 4 award categories including working mom support and CEO leadership.

PAGO Networks also announced its next step in global growth. The firm will open a new MDR operation in North America next year to build a follow the sun model that removes overnight work for both regions. This structure allows each team to operate during daytime hours while maintaining uninterrupted 24 hour monitoring.

Alongside its cultural and global developments, the company is moving forward with its next generation SOC platform. Built on EDR, NDR and XDR technologies, the platform is designed to unify detection and response and improve accuracy across the attack surface. CEO Kwon stated that this integrated approach represents the company’s vision for a modern SOC that is optimized for real world threats.

PAGO Networks continues to expand its services and reinforce its commitment to protecting organizations through both advanced technology and a people driven security culture.
