PAGO Security Summit 2025: DeepACT Platform Redefines MDR

At the PAGO Security Summit 2025, the company unveiled DeepACT, a next-generation unified security platform that sets a new benchmark for cyber threat management. This major launch signals a pivotal shift in Managed Detection and Response (MDR)—from reactive detection to proactive, execution-driven defense.
“We are no longer just detecting threats — we are predicting, neutralizing, and learning from them,” said CEO Paul Kwon during the keynote. “DeepACT represents our transition to execution-based security, built on tightly integrated technologies.”
A Unified Platform for a Fragmented Threat Landscape
DeepACT addresses a persistent cybersecurity challenge: fragmented point solutions that burden teams without stopping modern threats. According to ZDNet Korea’s Yoo Hye-jin, the platform “merges EDR, NDR, SIEM, and SOAR functionalities into a single, intelligent ecosystem.”
Digital Daily’s Choi Min-ji emphasized the industry shift, stating that “the time of standalone security solutions is over.” DeepACT utilizes real-time analytics, autonomous decision-making, and comprehensive visibility to safeguard IT, OT, cloud infrastructures, and even monitor dark web activity.
The Elec4 called it “a new paradigm in cyber threat response,” citing its ability to analyze context and respond dynamically.
From Detection to Decisive Action
A recurring theme in media coverage was DeepACT’s focus on operational execution. As TechWorld’s Lee Kwang-jae reported, PAGO’s stance is clear: “Security must go beyond alerts and dashboards - it must execute.” DeepACT can automatically isolate threats, activate response protocols, and adapt system posture in real time.
Business Post’s Jo Seung-ri described DeepACT as “a next-generation MDR platform where detection is just the beginning,” highlighting its decision engine and orchestration layer. NewsTap’s Lee Joon-moon added that the platform “ushers in a new era of execution-first threat response,” where incidents are not only identified - but instantly addressed.
Strategic Expansion Across Asia
As part of its broader strategy, PAGO announced plans to expand its MDR infrastructure across key Asian markets. News Free Zone’s Wi Ah-ram reported that PAGO aims to “build dedicated MDR centers throughout Asia,” with a focus on delivering scalable, high-performance security for mid-to-large enterprises.
According to IT Daily’s Jeong Jong-gil, DeepACT will serve as the foundation for this expansion, offering a unified and responsive platform for diverse operational environments.
